My turn! I chose for our epicurean delight Pho Real. Located in University City, it's across the way from Boardwalk in a plaza called the Promenade, I think?
Any-who, the restaurant was on the second floor and in the corner opposite of a Buffalo Wild Wings on crack due to their crazy crowding that spilled out onto the balcony-front. Inside was colorful and quiet, just right for eatin'& destressin"!
Appetizer: Fried wings with sauce
Dinner: Pho with tripe(cow stomach), fat brisket, and sliced steak
Dessert: Monkey Balls-fried sugary dumpling sprinkled with sugar and lightly drizzled with chocolate and strawberry.
PROS: Authentic Vietnamese cuisine that is sure to please those looking for something "real" without the awkward I-just-walked-into-the-wrong-restaurant feeling. Very laid back/modern casual approach. Yep, just made that up-modern casual. Use it, abuse it.
CONS: None! Don't change-only for the better :)
